The butcher of Ogun State is, not surprisingly, a political associate of the butcher from Minna. Not a few people have alleged that Ogun State Govern, Gbenga Daniel, planned to assassinate them. Many of his opponents are no longer alive. Ibrahim Babangida has found a very good friend in a similarly-brutal Governor Daniel, but Nigerians must resist them avoid occultism and the shedding of innocent blood in 2011 and beyond.
With vast investment in the broadcast media, Raymond Dokpesi wields enormous power in Nigeria, which he has never feared to use for political gains. His radio business was used to fight the attempt by General Ibrahim Babangida to remain in power after the widely-condemned annulment of the June 12 election in 1993. The same Dokpesi, faced with enormous financial difficulties has now offered to use his media empire for the benefit of the former dictator, having declared himself the chairman of Babangida's presidential campaign. He is, therefore, no longer on the side of the people. Dokpesi's big fall is a tragedy. Africa International Television and all business interests of Raymond Dokpesi have become an enemy of the people of Nigeria.
One of the greatest debtors to Nigerian banks has no known business, other than dancing to the beat of anybody in power. A classic traitor, Arisekola Alao was rescued from abject poverty after a failed car business by the late MKO Abiola. Ariskekola was the fetish commander for Ibrahim Babangida and Sani Abacha. It is, thereforre, hardly surprising that today, he has given his support to Ibrahim Babangida. Arisekola, in promoting Babangida's ambition, says Nigerians should forget June 12.
